The First Annual IceDevil13 Memorial HogOff

Thank you all who have made this event a success! We've reached the goal that we set forth at the beginning, and I am happy to announce that donations are still coming in strong! Let's get to 125%!

There seems to be some confusion regarding how to enter your gamertag at the time of donation. Please use the "special instructions to merchant" section in PayPal to include this information. If you still cannot find it, or forget, I will e-mail you for the information, but to save us both a step, please include your GamerTag.

We at H3Wheelmen.com pride ourselves on surgical use of our vehicles on the battlefield. Now it's your turn to try and outdo us. We are hosting an annual event for the month of June challenging the community to rack up as many Wheelman medals and Warthog gunner kills as possible in Matchmaking slayer gametypes. This event is to raise money for the family of one of our own, tragically taken by cancer in April.


The entry fee is a dollar, a paltry sum compared to the value of the swag that has been graciously donated by both Bungie and our GGN allies.

Prizes will be awarded to the driver with the most wheelmen, and to the gunner with the most hog turret kills in matchmade Slayer games for the month of June. We will also be having random prize drawings for the best stuff, in case driving the hog doesn't suit your interests. Every dollar donated is an entry into the random drawing. One dollar makes you eligible for the contest, but a donation of $5 gets you 5 entries into the random draw, $20 gets you 20 entries, etc.

The Driver and Gunner Winners will each receive:
-An H3WM T-shirt, with winner emblem
-MS Points
-A Halo figurine, signed by the fine folks at BUNGIE

For the random drawings we have:

This year, all proceeds will be going to IceDevil's family, and we are working on getting matching funds to go to the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network, a registered Non-Profit organization devoted to the cause of finding a cure for and helping those afflicted with this terrible illness. In the future, ALL proceeds will go to this charity.

Well folks, its that time of year again, and you Wheelmen know what that means. Time for the HOGOFF!

This year however, we've decided to do things a little differently. As those of you frequenting the site are undoubtedly aware, a former member has gone MIA. Many of you don't know Sheep Dip and IceDevil, so a quick history lesson first. Sheep and Ice were the winners of our first Hogoff here at H3WM. At the time, we were a small but rapidly expanding community coming to this site from the original B.net group. As happens with growing communities, there was a falling out. Sheep and Ice went their way, we went ours. But Wheelmen are for life.

It is in that spirit that we're taking the Hogoff in a new direction. We feel it is time to give back, not just to sheep, but to the community and society as a whole. In true wheelman fashion, this is our outlet. This is why I am proud to announce...


Now here's the part where you're wondering "Entry Fee?"

Here's the deal. We've decided to take the Hogoff public. To swing wide the floodgates and allow all to get behind the wheel to rack up as many hog kills in one month as possible (slayer games only, so no held objectives). Prizes will be awarded to the driver with the most wheelmen, and to the gunner with the most hog kills. We will also be having random prize drawings for the best stuff, in order to get even non-drivers interested. Every dollar donated is an entry into the random drawing.
